Welcome to Ghost Frequency ("we," "our," or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how our mobile application collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our location-based retro radio app.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

• Location Data: To enable core local radio and broadcast functionality (connecting you with transmissions left by nearby users within specific physical ranges), we collect and process rough or precise device geolocation data when the app is in use.
• User Content & Transmissions: We collect text messages, call signs, and audio voice clips ("transmissions") created and broadcasted through the app, stored temporarily in our database to facilitate real-time mesh sharing.
• Device Identifiers: We use anonymous device identifiers stored locally to manage your operator profile and message synchronizations without requiring personal registration or logins.

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & ADVERTISING

• Supabase: We use Supabase as our backend database infrastructure to store real-time transmissions and messages securely under standard anonymous role access.
• Google AdMob: We integrate Google AdMob to display banner advertisements within the app. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers and advertising IDs in accordance with Google's privacy policies to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.

4. DATA RETENTION AND DECAY

Transmissions and broadcasted messages have a built-in automated decay window (typically set to 300 seconds / 5 minutes), after which they expire from active broadcast views.

5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our app is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
